A London Life is a photobook by David William Parry featuring unexpected images and an LGBTQ+ standpoint. Having worked on this project for over three years, his overall intention is to visually document the nightmares and fairy tales of London Life, in all of its oddity and LGBTQ+ wonders. Overall, photographs have been taken throughout London, its galleries, parks, buildings, ruins, people, and battle grounds. These images remind us of the infinite potential of humanity.
David William Parry’s experience includes theatre productions as a director, producer, and occasional performer, as well as a life-long obsession with Andy Warhol. He is also the author of two collections of theatrical poetry and a collection of essays exploring the arts evolving out of Mount Athos in Greece. His ventures into the world of arts and creativity have ultimately led to a vision of the surreal within and around him.
