Description
Beyond ordinary human understanding, the little bubble of ignorance we shut ourselves up in, is the Wisdom of the Gods. It probably does not matter which word is chosen from literature or spiritual traditions to refer to this: enlightenment, theosophy, gnosis, esotericism, or any of the more exotic terms from the orient, such as jnana, kevala, prajna, sambodhi, atma-vidya, satori, tasawwuf, irfan, or ma’rifah. All refer to a more profound way of knowing, a knowing that both reveals eternal truths and creates new revelations, transforming the individual consciousness and allowing one to pass beyond the limits of the finite self, the small ‘I’ or ego.
